Background of Guren
Guren Ichinose is an important character in the anime and manga series Seraph of the End. With his exceptional analytical and strategic skills, Guren has proven himself as one of the finest swordsmen in the Japanese Imperial Demon Army, earning him the rank of a Lieutenant Colonel.
Guren wields Mahiru-no-Yo, a weapon fused with his lover Mahiru and the high ranking demon Noya. The Mahiru-no-Yo is a black katana with a crimson red streak outlined on the entire blade. Guren uses his sword to dissolve, possess and launch an enormous amount of flames at his opponents.
